a Protractor and a Compass
Angle can be measured from either the clockwise
direction or the anti-clockwise direction. From the figure above, the steps of
measuring ÐPQR;
11. Place
the center of the protractor on vertex A and overlap the base kine with arm QP
of the angle.
22. Measure
the size of ÐPQR
by using the inner scale. Therefore, ÐPQR
= 70°.

Three dimensional figures are objects which occupy space.
They simply called solids.
There are two types of solids.
11. Polyhedra
– are solids enclosed by polygons, such as cubes, rectangular solid,triangular
prisms, quadrilateral pyramids etc.

Non
– polyhedral – are solids enclosed by both planes and curves surfaces, or
curved surfaces only such as cylinders, circular cones,spheres,torus, etc.
